2004/2005 UPDATE - The costumes are completed.  The choreography has been perfected and is being refined.  And the bumps and bruises are being bandaged and forgotten.  The guys are very ready. The season is underway.

Lenny was up first - Liberty Open Competitions in Philadelphia on July 12th thru 17th.  This is Lenny's second year competing as a Junior free style skater.  He did well in his first year.  Placing in Regionals was a great accomplishment.   Although he didn't place in Phiily, he has high hopes this year as well.  Please wish him luck and see and support him in future competitions if you can.

Jackson's first competition followed closely with The Lake Placid Ice Dance Championships - August 2nd thru 6th.  Although early in the season, this event is an important national competition for ice dancers.  This is Jackson and Ilana's second year as Intermediate Ice Dancers.  They went all the way to Junior Nationals last year placing 6th over-all.  They too have high hopes for this year's effort.  And with a second place finish in Lake Placid, we are all very hopeful for a great season.  Please join us in congratualting  and wishing them well throughout the season.

Neither of them will compete at the Middle Atlantic Championships which will be held at Chelsea Piers on September 15-18.  This will be the most local event of the year.  But they may do exhibition skating at the event.  For our neighbors and close-by friends, this will be your best opportunity to see Lenny and Jackson in action.  Call me if you want to come to this event.  I'll know for sure if they will be skating by September 11th.

Fore sure, both, Lenny & Jackson, will be competing in the 2006 North Atlantic Regional Championships in Amherst, New York - October 18th thru 22nd.  This is the first qualifiying event of the year.  We may find it necessary to compete in other events prior to and after this qualifying event  to sharpen their skills.  We will post the site to keep everyone informed.

Assuming all goes well at Regionals, Lenny will go on to 2006 Eastern Sectionals in Boxborough, Massachusetts on November 18-20 and Jackson will move on to 2006 Junior Nationals in Westminster, Colorado on November 28-December 3.  The season ends with US Nationals on January 7th.  This year in St. Louis.  Hopefully, we will be there.  We will maintain the latest info and all press notices on the site.

Thanks for reading.  Please try to come out and suppot the guys and gal in their effort to be the best.

Free Dance was Great!!
Jackson and his partner Ilana Morse took the 2004 Junior National Championship. They were first place with all the judges. Spectacular results. Best in the nation at the Juvenile level. We are so very proud. They are now focusing on Intermediate Dance. New dances, new music but the same goals ... being the best. Wish them luck in the new season.
